At Skinsite we use the technique of sclerotherapy to
improve spider and varicose veins. There are many
reasons why these veins function abnormally. Often
with spider veins hormones, environmental damage
and ageing are contributing factors. With varicose veins
there is a problem with internal valves and hereditary
factors often play a major role.

At your initial consultation, your veins are assessed and
you will be advised about the best treatment options. If
sclerotherapy is indicated, a solution is injected into the problem areas resulting in sclerosis of the vein walls. The vein is then resorbed relieving any discomfort the vein may have been causing and dramatically improving appearances.
